About Us

We are a community sailing andwatersports club and a registered charity situated in Teesdale (County Durham). Details of the charity can be found {HERE}

Our membership fees are amongst the lowest in the country and you do not need to become a member or own your own equipment to get involved.

Scout and other groups can join in the fun as well as people who just want to help out, meet new friends and become involved as a Volunteer.

Why Join Us

We are affordable
Our membership fees are amongst the lowest in the country.

We are friendly
We have a community focus and an inclusive approach to getting people involved in watersports.

We are a training centre
We offer RYA training courses and other instruction in sailing and power boats.

Volunteers are welcome
If you just want to “be a friend” by crewing a safety boat, helping on the shore or brewing the tea instead of windsurfing, that’s fine with us.

Group memberships available
Schools, scouts and other activity based groups can become group members.

Free tea and coffee!
We cannot promise it will always be the case, but all members and visitors can partake of some hot refreshment.

We are expanding
In 2016 we hope to open up a second, much larger, reservoir and make a real difference to watersport in Teesdale.

We need you
We have a plan! Only by you helping us to increase participation in watersports, can it happen.
