Other Club Pictures
The first 6 pictures are Felixstowe Ferry on the east coast, usually with a strong onshore wind and fast moving water. The earth bank is part of the flood barrier and there is a walk along to top. What it demonstrates is the value of sinking the dinghy park/prep area behind the bank in the wind shadow.
The next 6 pictures are Blackwater Sailing Club. Note that the launching ramp is parallel to the shore, which might be a solution for Balderhead, possibly in a west direction but maybe in both east and west directions.
Of these pictures, the last two show the value of wall racking for bags which increases changing room capacity substantially. Note also the floor is completely clear making cleaning easier – everything is wall hung.
