9th - 10 August 2025, 09:30 - 16:00

Tacking whilst sailing upwind, and gybing in a controlled manner will be covered. Capsize recovery, racing and meteorology will be considered along with sailing theory and background. It will be assumed that every student starting this course has mastered the practical skills and absorbed the theory contained in Level One - Start Sailing. Although it is not necessary to have a Level One certificate a student's sailing should be of that standard before starting this course. You should be able to sail in light winds without an instructor on board.
