RYA Onboard Club makes a flying start

We completed the Junior Learn to Sail course today in perfect conditions after a couple of rather windy sessions. We issued four Stage One certificates to those young people who showed great skill and determination to master the basics of dinghy sailing.
We hope that all of them will continue to sail as members of the OnBoard Club which kicks off in the afternoon on Saturday 11th June, when we will concentrate on fun and games for any and all of our young sailors. Returning junior sailors from last years OnBoard Club and courses are welcome. Just sign up online (so we know that you will be there and can plan accordingly).
Adult helpers are always welcome to help out with this in addition to the instructors. Indeed I would like to say a big thank you to all those who have helped over the last three Saturdays. Ian, Dave, Jerry, Paul, and John your help was invaluable. I hope you enjoyed helping out just as much as the chocolate cake afterwards!
