Juniors Sailing Course - 22nd/23rd June

The Juniors sailing course took place this last weekend over 2 beautiful summer days. The first day was quite breezy and challenging, but still a beautiful sunny day. Day 2 was equally as summery, and the wind was much more favourable for the novice juniors.

There were 10 eager young students who took to the water, and by the afternoon of the first day, they were whizzing about on the water with some confidence. It was brilliant to see.

It was also a great sight to see almost all of the smaller club boats out and being used at once. On the Sunday, when general club sailing was also taking place, there were around 22 boats on the water at one point. It was quite an impressive sight. The slipway was like a boat traffic jam at one point!

The juniors all had a great time, and everyone passed with flying colours on the level one course.

A huge thank you to all the instructors, safety boat crew, beach crew, and of course, our enthusiastic students. We hope to see you all soon, enjoying and making the most of our club facilities.
